Purlin Parallel File System

Purlin Parallel File System

The LinePillar FS parallel file system (LPFS) independently developed by Luisuantech is an enterprise-level storage solution designed for scenarios such as high-performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence (AI), and big data analysis. The system takes high throughput, low latency, and easy scalability as its core goals, and is designed to meet the needs of massive data storage, high concurrent access, and complex computing tasks.

Parallel architecture design High performance IO optimization High reliability and fault tolerance Cross-platform compatibility
Based on distributed metadata management and data sharding technology, it supports multi-node parallel reading and writing, breaks through the single-point performance bottleneck of traditional file systems, and achieves linear expansion capabilities. It can be horizontally expanded to thousands of nodes, and the storage scale reaches EB level. Adopting adaptive data distribution strategy, intelligent caching mechanism and RDMA (remote direct memory access) network acceleration technology, it significantly improves the efficiency of small file processing and large file sequential reading and writing performance, and is suitable for high IO scenarios such as AI training and scientific computing. Supports data protection mechanisms such as multiple copies and erasure codes (EC), has automatic fault detection and fast data reconstruction capabilities, provides 99.999% system availability, and ensures business continuity. Compatible with mainstream operating systems (Linux/Windows), virtualization environments and cloud native ecosystems (Kubernetes CSI interface), seamlessly connects to public clouds, private clouds and hybrid cloud architectures, and supports multiple protocol access such as POSIX, NFS, S3, etc.

Luisuantech  LST N5100 series storage management system, with its excellent graphical user interface design, significantly improves the efficiency of storage deployment. The system not only covers the support of multiple protocols, including CIFS, NFS, FTP*, iSCSI, etc., to ensure the flexibility and compatibility of data transmission; it also provides comprehensive RAID level protection, including RAID EE, as well as advanced features such as thin provisioning, SSD caching, automatic tiering, data compression and online deduplication to optimize storage performance and space utilization.

LPFS parallel file system is a high-performance parallel file system built on software-defined storage (SDS) technology. It provides a unified namespace, supports standard POSIX file interfaces, and meets the needs of multi-client parallel reading and writing. The system architecture is mainly composed of the following four core component services:
• Management Service: The "brain" of the system, responsible for the coordination and operation of global resources.

• Metadata Management Service: Responsible for managing the logical structure of the file system, ensuring data consistency and efficient retrieval.

• Data Storage Service: The "warehouse" of the system, focusing on the physical storage and access optimization of data blocks.

• Client Service: The entry point for users to interact with the system, providing a transparent data access experience.

High-performance concurrent read and write capabilities Elastic expansion and resource optimization High availability and disaster recovery capabilities Scenario-based adaptation and architecture optimization

· Through the distributed architecture, data is stored in multiple nodes, supporting thousands of computing nodes to access simultaneously, significantly improving I/O throughput, and is suitable for high-concurrency scenarios such as AI training and HPC.

· The client directly connects metadata and data services, combined with RDMA zero-copy transmission technology, bypasses the traditional FUSE kernel limitations, and achieves microsecond latency and minimal data redundancy

· Supports scale-out, with capacity and performance growing linearly with the number of nodes to meet the needs of explosive business growth‌

· Built-in fully distributed redundancy mechanism, eliminating single point failure risk through multiple copies or cross-node data mirroring, ensuring 7×24 hours business continuity;

· Support non-interruption maintenance and dynamic load balancing, avoiding data loss caused by hardware RAID damage or node downtime in traditional storage.

· Optimizes AI large files and continuous high bandwidth requirements, provides support for private protocols or CIFS protocols, simplifies metadata management processes, and reduces interaction delays between computing and storage‌
